Sunny the Squirrel
Sunny the Squirrel represents boldly trying out new things, even if they're completely outside her comfort zone. While she loves the peace and quiet of the luscious forest she calls home, she never shies away from a new experience. This hand-finished 3D printed sculpture is printed and finished right here at my workshop in the Netherlands.

Sunny goes absolutely nuts for music and is always on the lookout for her next concert, she's even started going to metal concerts, so keep your eyes peeled: you might just spot Sunny headbanging at the stage alongside you. She brings that same irrepressible energy to wherever she's placed, and pairs brilliantly with other figurines who can keep up with her pace.
✦ Fun Fact
Squirrels bury thousands of nuts each autumn to prepare for winter, but forget where they hid roughly half of them. This forgetfulness is actually responsible for planting countless trees every year, making squirrels one of nature's most accidental but effective gardeners. Sunny is very proud of this fact and considers it a feature, not a bug.
Sunny's measurements are approximately 8 × 6 × 10 cm (L × W × H). Because Sunny was designed as a figurine and not as a toy, please be careful with her when children are around, everything has been sanded down where needed for safety, but some sharp parts could still be present.

Living with a print
It's a print, so it reads like one up close. Seams get sanded, supports get cleaned off, nothing gets filled in to fake a moulded look.
PLA starts to soften around 50 °C. A sunny windowsill is fine: a parked car in August is not.
Dry brush or a soft cloth. If it needs more than that, lukewarm water and patience: no solvents.
