Hi, I'm Russ (maker, cosplayer, and the one-person constellation behind Hand of Stardust). I'm based in the Netherlands, and this shop is basically what happens when a passion for art and technology gets completely out of hand (in the best way).
How it all started
I've always loved creating things, and 3D printing gave me a way to do that at a whole new level. Cosplay taught me that the right prop or accessory can make you feel genuinely transformed. Combine those two things, and Hand of Stardust was inevitable.
One printer turned into several, a hobby turned into a shop, and I still get the same thrill watching the first layer go down.
Two printers, different jobs
My main machine: up to seven colours or materials in one print, a heated chamber for engineering filaments, and Vortek hotend swapping that cuts purge waste by up to 58%.
This is what large props, multi-colour pieces and anything structural gets printed on.

My older printer, still earning its keep on single-colour work: bookmarks, keychains, small batches and reprints.
Running two machines means small jobs do not have to wait behind a 22-hour print.

Cosplay props to help you become someone else for a weekend. Romantasy bookshelf pieces for fellow BookTok devotees. Fidget toys, model kits, and home décor that actually earns its shelf space. If it can be drawn and printed, it has probably crossed my build plate at some point (and if it hasn't yet, that is precisely what commissions are for).
