Custom 3D printing

Bring me the thing
that doesn't exist yet.

A prop from a game nobody has modelled, a collectible of a character you love, a gift that has to be exactly right. Send me the idea and I'll print, finish and ship it from the workshop in the Netherlands.

✦ What I take on

The work I love, and the work I don't

Bring me
  • Cosplay props and weapons from your favourite games, shows or books
  • Fan collectibles (specific characters, items or scenes)
  • Personalised gifts with a nerdy or maker twist
  • Print-only orders — you provide the STL, I handle the rest
Probably not me
  • Very large or highly complex builds that need extensive engineering
  • Rush orders (good things take time, and I want yours to be great)
✦ Pricing

Three ways to work together

Print only
€4,00
per print hour, plus material at cost

You send the STL. I slice it, print it, clean it up and ship it. Extra colours €1,00 each.

Print and assemble
+ €35
per hands-on hour, on top of print time

Multi-part pieces arrive built, sanded and finished (not as a bag of parts). Billed in 15-minute blocks.

Design and print
€40
per design hour, on top of print time. Quoted upfront

No file yet? I model it from your references first, with two revision rounds included, then print it.

How pricing works. Machine time is €4,00 per print hour and material is charged at cost (both numbers come straight out of Bambu Studio the moment your file is sliced, so you see them before you commit). Extra colours are €1,00 each. Hands-on work (assembly, sanding, painting) is €35 per hour in 15-minute blocks, and design is €40 per hour. No minimum order: a single keychain is welcome.

✦ Take it with you

The whole thing on two pages

Every rate, three worked examples, both printers and the terms, in one sheet you can read later or forward to whoever signs off on it.

✦ Work it out yourself

What will it cost?

Drag the sliders, or start from one of the examples. If you already have a file, the two numbers you need are sitting in Bambu Studio the moment you slice it.

Start from an example
Bambu Studio reports this the moment your file is sliced.
Also straight from the slicer, before anything is agreed.
The H2C's Vortek hotends cut purge waste by up to 58%, so extra colours stay cheap.
Estimated print cost
€15,80
Indication only (your real quote comes from the sliced file).

Assembly, sanding and painting are charged separately at €35 per hour, in 15-minute blocks. Design work is €40 per hour.

✦ The workshop

Two printers, different jobs

Bambu Lab H2C

My main machine: up to seven colours or materials in one print, a heated chamber for engineering filaments, and Vortek hotend swapping that cuts purge waste by up to 58%.

This is what large props, multi-colour pieces and anything structural gets printed on.

Build volume 330 × 320 × 325 mm

Bambu Lab A1

My older printer, still earning its keep on single-colour work: bookmarks, keychains, small batches and reprints.

Running two machines means small jobs do not have to wait behind a 22-hour print.

Build volume 256 × 256 × 256 mm

✦ Files and references

The more you send, the closer it lands

Ideal is an STL that's ready to print, or SVG and Illustrator files for anything that still needs converting. Screenshots, sketches, links and reference photos all help too.

No files at all? That's exactly what the design service is for (start with a description and we'll work from there).

✦ How we work

The terms, stated plainly

Free quotes

Send the idea or the file and you get a price with the numbers behind it. No obligation, no pressure.

Always free

Half upfront

Half the agreed price before printing starts, the rest before it ships. It covers the filament that is about to become your thing.

50% deposit

Two revision rounds

Design work includes two rounds of changes. Beyond that, extra hours are quoted before I start.

2 rounds included

If it fails, I reprint it

A print that fails on my side is my problem, not your invoice. I reprint it and absorb the material.

Reprinted at my cost

Tell me what you're picturing

Send it over with as much detail as you have — references, sketches, a rough description, anything. You'll get a quote and a timeline back from me, not a form letter.
