Soren the Owl loves keeping a watchful eye over your home and can't wait to perch on your shelf. His intricate design gives him a wise yet charming look, and while he may seem small, this owl has a personality far bigger than his size suggests. This hand-finished 3D printed sculpture is printed and finished right here at my workshop in the Netherlands.

Soren loves a cosy spot with a good view, somewhere he can survey his surroundings with the calm authority that owls have always done so well. He's the ideal shelf companion for anyone who appreciates quiet, considered presence: a reading nook, a bookshelf, a desk corner with a window view. Give him a clean environment and the occasional dust-off with a soft cloth, and he'll watch over things to his complete satisfaction.
✦ Fun Fact
Owls can't move their eyeballs, their eyes are fixed in their sockets. To compensate, they can rotate their heads up to 270 degrees, giving them an extraordinary field of vision without moving their body at all. Soren considers this one of his most impressive qualities and will demonstrate it whenever the light is right.
Soren's measurements are approximately 13 × 13 × 5.5 cm (L × W × H). Because Soren was designed as a figurine and not as a toy, please be careful with him when children are around, everything has been sanded down where needed for safety, but some sharp parts could still be present.

Living with a print
It's a print, so it reads like one up close. Seams get sanded, supports get cleaned off, nothing gets filled in to fake a moulded look.
PLA starts to soften around 50 °C. A sunny windowsill is fine: a parked car in August is not.
Dry brush or a soft cloth. If it needs more than that, lukewarm water and patience: no solvents.
