Elly The Elephant
Elly may be small in size, but don't let that fool you, she's got the heart of a gentle giant and a soft spot for greenery. This hand-finished 3D printed sculpture is printed and finished right here at my workshop in the Netherlands, and she arrives ready to keep a quiet, caring eye on whatever plants you have nearby.
✦ About Elly
Elly loves plants, the more the better, as far as she's concerned. Surrounding her with your favourite greenery is genuinely recommended, and keeping her out of direct sunlight will keep her looking her best. With her refined low-poly design and playful charm, she brings a quiet kind of joy to any space, equally at home as a thoughtful gift, a desk companion, or a unique eye-catcher in your home.
✦ Fun Fact
Elephants are one of the few animals known to recognise themselves in a mirror, a sign of self-awareness shared only with great apes, dolphins, and a handful of other species. They also mourn their dead and have been observed returning to the bones of lost family members years after their passing. And yes, elephants do eat bananas whole, peel and all. Elly holds her loved ones close, always.
Elly's measurements are approximately 11 × 7 × 10 cm (L × W × H). Because Elly was designed as a figurine and not as a toy, please be careful with her when children are around, everything has been sanded down where needed for safety, but some sharp parts could still be present.

Living with a print
It's a print, so it reads like one up close. Seams get sanded, supports get cleaned off, nothing gets filled in to fake a moulded look.
PLA starts to soften around 50 °C. A sunny windowsill is fine: a parked car in August is not.
Dry brush or a soft cloth. If it needs more than that, lukewarm water and patience: no solvents.
