Hoenn's most devoted ocean enthusiasts deserve their own Poké Ball (and honestly, the design is pretty great). This hand-finished 3D printed collectible is a tribute to Team Aqua's iconic branding, printed in their signature navy and teal colours right here at my workshop in the Netherlands.
Dimensions fully assembled: approximately 12 × 12 × 12 cm (L × W × H)
Designed by N3D. Printed, finished and shipped by Hand of Stardust.
Photos shown are of the fully finished Stardust Finish variant!
✦ Stardust Finish
Every Team Aqua Ball arrives as a Stardust Finish — fully printed in Team Aqua's authentic navy and teal colours and assembled by hand, ready to display. A must-have for any Hoenn fan or Team Aqua apologist.
✦ Want to build it yourself?
Prefer the hands-on experience? I also offer a Builder's Kit option — all parts printed in white Bambu Lab PLA, smoothed and prepped for you to assemble and finish your way. Just reach out via Instagram or email and we'll sort it out!
✦ Trivia
Not a Real Poké Ball
The Team Aqua Ball is not an actual in-game item — it's a fictionalized design from the Pokémon Trading Card Game, representing Team Aqua's branding rather than a functional capture tool. That hasn't stopped it becoming a collector's favourite.
Symbolic of Their Mission
The Team Aqua Ball's anchor-shaped logo symbolises the team's goal to expand the world's oceans. Their motivation — however misguided — was rooted in a genuine belief that a world of water would be better for Pokémon and humanity alike.
The Kyogre Connection
Team Aqua's ultimate ambition in Pokémon Emerald is to awaken Kyogre, the legendary sea Pokémon. This storyline culminates in a dramatic showdown in Sootopolis City, with Rayquaza ultimately intervening to restore balance — one of the most memorable set pieces in Hoenn's story.
Team Aqua's Pokémon
Team Aqua Grunts and Admins typically use Pokémon like Carvanha, Sharpedo, Mightyena, and Zubat — leaning into the aquatic and dark themes that define the team's identity throughout the Hoenn games.
