The Gratitude Pokémon, curled into its Land Forme and looking right at home. This hand-finished Character Ball brings Shaymin's soft green and white hedgehog silhouette to a Pokéball shell, finished right here at my workshop in the Netherlands.

The Gratitude Pokémon
Introduced in Generation IV (Pokémon Diamond, Pearl and Platinum), Shaymin is the Mythical Pokémon of thanks. A new patch of Gracidea flowers is said to bloom wherever it lands, which is why bouquets of them became a way of saying thank you.
Two Formes, One Flower
Touch a Gracidea flower in daylight and Land Forme Shaymin shifts into its sleeker Sky Forme, trading the hedgehog roundness for something closer to a leggy reindeer. At night, or if it gets frozen, it reverts. This ball captures the Land Forme, which is the one most people picture first.
Seed Flare
Shaymin's signature move is one of the hardest-hitting Grass moves in the games: base 120 power, with a 40% chance of dropping the target's Special Defence by two full stages. Not bad for something the size of a well-fed hedgehog.
A Movie Debut
Shaymin headlined its own film, Giratina and the Sky Warrior, which is where a lot of fans first met it. It's been a quietly beloved Mythical ever since: the kind of Pokémon people are genuinely pleased to spot on a shelf.

Living with a print
It's a print, so it reads like one up close. Seams get sanded, supports get cleaned off, nothing gets filled in to fake a moulded look.
PLA starts to soften around 50 °C. A sunny windowsill is fine: a parked car in August is not.
Dry brush or a soft cloth. If it needs more than that, lukewarm water and patience: no solvents.
