Riolu — No. 447 — 3D Printed Character Ball
Before there was Lucario, there was a small blue scrapper who could read your aura across a canyon. Riolu, No. 447, joins the Character Ball lineup, printed and finished right here at my workshop in the Netherlands.
Designed by N3D. Printed, finished and shipped by Hand of Stardust. Dimensions fully assembled: approximately 7.1 × 12.2 × 7.5 cm (L × W × H). Photos shown are of the fully finished Stardust Finish variant.
✦ Stardust Finish
Every Riolu arrives as a Stardust Finish: fully printed in its blue, black, yellow and white colours and assembled by hand, ready to display straight out of the box. The ear-spikes, the two aura appendages and the black teardrop marking are all there in the sculpt, making it one of the more characterful balls in the lineup.
✦ Want to build it yourself?
Prefer the hands-on experience? I also offer a Builder's Kit option: all parts printed in the correct colours, unassembled and ready for you to put together yourself. Just reach out via Instagram or email and I'll sort it out.
✦ Trivia
The Emanation Pokémon
Introduced in Generation IV, Riolu (No. 447) reads and shapes the aura around it, sensing others' emotions and even picking up on things it cannot see. A healthy Riolu is said to cross ravines and mountains through a single night.
A Bond That Evolves
Riolu evolves into Lucario when levelled up in the daytime with high friendship: one of the evolutions tied directly to the bond between a Pokémon and its Trainer, which is a big part of why fans are so attached to it.
Fighting Spirit
A pure Fighting-type, Riolu punches well above its size, learning moves like Force Palm and Copycat early. Its high potential made it a prized catch long before it reached its famous evolution.
A Screen Favourite
Riolu's popularity was helped along by Lucario's big-screen debut and its own anime arc: Ash raised a Riolu that hatched from an egg and eventually evolved into Lucario.

Living with a print
It's a print, so it reads like one up close. Seams get sanded, supports get cleaned off, nothing gets filled in to fake a moulded look.
PLA starts to soften around 50 °C. A sunny windowsill is fine: a parked car in August is not.
Dry brush or a soft cloth. If it needs more than that, lukewarm water and patience: no solvents.
