Rectangular Lithophane (Portrait) - 3D Printed Photo
Turn a favourite memory into a piece of art you can hold up to the light. Lithophanes are one of the most magical things a 3D printer can make, by varying the depth of the material, your photo is revealed in stunning detail when backlit. You really have to see it to believe it.
The portrait format is perfect for close-up shots: faces, single subjects, pets, and those photos that were always meant to be framed. Upload your photo, choose your size, and I'll take care of the rest. And before printing, I will send a digital preview of the print and will contact you to discuss any specific changes.

Please note that the larger the lithophane, the more details will be available for you because the print can have more light reflect off of it.

Final dimensions include a small structural border, so the finished piece will be slightly larger than the size selected.

Living with a print
It's a print, so it reads like one up close. Seams get sanded, supports get cleaned off, nothing gets filled in to fake a moulded look.
PLA starts to soften around 50 °C. A sunny windowsill is fine: a parked car in August is not.
Dry brush or a soft cloth. If it needs more than that, lukewarm water and patience: no solvents.
