✦ Stardust Finish

Every Umbreon arrives as a Stardust Finish: printed in its sleek black with the yellow ring accents picked out, assembled by hand, and ready to display straight out of the box. One of the moodier pieces in the lineup, and all the better for it.

✦ Want to build it yourself?

Prefer the hands-on experience? I also offer a Builder's Kit option: all parts printed in the correct colours, unassembled and ready for you to put together yourself. Just reach out via Instagram or email and I'll sort it out.

✦ Trivia

A Moonlit Evolution

Evolving from Eevee under the cover of night, Umbreon made its debut in Generation II as a symbol of loyalty and lunar mystery. Its evolution is tied to friendship and nighttime, making it one of the more emotionally resonant transformations in the franchise.

Tactical Spotlight

Umbreon is not built for brute force: it excels in endurance. With moves like Toxic, Protect and Moonlight, it is a favourite in stall strategies, frustrating opponents with its resilience and status effects.

Modern Availability

Umbreon stays a constant across generations. Whether in Legends: Arceus or Scarlet and Violet, its evolution method holds: high friendship, no Fairy-type moves, and a nighttime level-up.

Design Notes

Umbreon's design leans on lunar themes and nocturnal animals. The glowing yellow rings are said to shine when it senses danger, and its sleek black fur and feline posture echo the black cats of old superstition. Its Japanese name, Blacky, reinforces that colour-based identity, while its classification as the Moonlight Pokémon ties straight back to its nighttime evolution.

✦ Finish and care

Living with a print

Layer lines, honestly

It's a print, so it reads like one up close. Seams get sanded, supports get cleaned off, nothing gets filled in to fake a moulded look.

Keep it out of hot cars

PLA starts to soften around 50 °C. A sunny windowsill is fine: a parked car in August is not.

Dusting

Dry brush or a soft cloth. If it needs more than that, lukewarm water and patience: no solvents.
